Dr. Matos is the best doctor I’ve ever had, no matter the specialty. I’m a patient with a very complex case and was transferred to Dr. Matos’s office after moving to NJ in 2022. Before that, I had already been wearing braces for a year. I reached out to many orthodontic offices—some refused to take patients who were already in treatment, and others seemed more focused on money than patient care, pressuring me to sign a contract during the first consultation. Dr. Matos was completely different. From the start, he was patient, kind, and always greeted his patients with a smile. He is a true professional—experienced, thoughtful, and always willing to take the time to explain everything in clear, simple language. During my first consultation, he drew everything on a scratch paper to explain what would happen to my teeth during the treatment. Dr. Matos is never the kind of doctor who lets you wait for an hour and only speaks with you for 2 minutes. I never left an appointment with unanswered questions or concerns. Because of my complicated case, I needed to visit the office more often than other patients for retainers and other procedures. Dr. Matos was always there and ready to help.

Matos Orthodontics is a clean and friendly environment. The staff is always willing to answer questions and give directions, are knowledgeable in their work, and do a great job every time. Dr. Matos took care of both of my girls and with his knowledge and expertise was able to help one daughter with her crowded teeth and turned teeth to the correct placement without surgery. Always advises the best information for the situation at hand. My girls are very appreciative and happy with the results of Dr. Matos' work. We thank him in every way.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Matos services were extremely thorough and detailed. I’ve had braces twice before as a teenager but this time around I know my teeth will finally turn out perfect since Dr. Matos understands exactly how and why my teeth have a tendency to shift a certain way and why my bite was not aligned. Not only that but I was able to get my braces on really quickly, I was really happy to finally find a doctor that was able to work with my schedule. He’s one of the friendliest and most down-to-earth doctors I’ve ever met with such an easy going vibe that made me feel very comfortable in what could have been a stressful dental visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a perfect smile from someone who is honest and really has a passion for dentistry.
